The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, H.E. Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari (Marafan Sokoto), on Wednesday, 26th August 2027, hosted the Renewed Hope Global Advocate and Deputy Director, Diaspora Mobilisation 1, *Prince Ade Omole*, at his Maitama residence in Abuja, Nigeria, for a private meeting that brought together the long-term associates. The congratulatory meeting, which also had in attendance the APC National Youth Leader and APC PCC Deputy Director, Youth Mobilisation, Dr Dayo Israel, was held behind closed doors and focused on national issues, the positive trajectory of the Nation and the need for continued coordination as Nigeria moves into another politically important period.
The meeting brought together men who, in their different capacities, have been entrusted with responsibilities at a critical time in the country's life.
Both Senator Yari and Prince Omole congratulated each other on their appointments and the confidence President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has placed in them. They also acknowledged the responsibility that comes with being found worthy to serve at such a time and stressed the importance of delivering on the mandate given to them.
The discussions were frank, cordial and strategic, with the participants exchanging views on developments within the polity and the broader national political landscape.
At the end of the deliberations, the humble and amiable Senator Yari personally accompanied Prince Omole and Dr Dayo Israel as they departed the residence, in a gesture that reflected the cordiality and mutual respect that characterised the meeting.
Prince Omole also used the opportunity to greet party leaders and faithful at the premises, including former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emma Eneukwu and former Presidential media aide to the late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Hon Bashir Ahmad.
The gathering, though private, was significant for the message it conveyed: senior figures within the APC are increasingly engaging, consulting and building the relationships required to navigate the road ahead.
With the political atmosphere already gathering momentum, Wednesday's meeting may well prove to have been one of those quiet conversations that assume greater significance as events unfold. Nigeria should therefore brace for an increasingly issue-based political season.
