Badagry people, take note.
1. The Federal Government, through the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, GboyegaOyetola (FMoMBENigeria), negotiated with APMTerminals to develop the Badagry Deep Seaport — not a personal project of President Tinubu.
2. Following that, Badagry Port Development Ltd has signed an MOU with APMTerminals for exclusive negotiations on the project.
3. The Minister, GboyegaOyetola, is also advancing deep-port projects in Ogun, Ondo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States.
4. Expected benefits: jobs, jobs, jobs; capacity for larger container vessels; higher cargo-handling capacity; and stronger access to the West African market.
