The Federal Government has committed serious resources — over ₦712 billion — to a full rehabilitation of Terminal One, the expansion of Terminal Two, new roads, better aprons and modern passenger facilities. The old terminal is being stripped back to its core and rebuilt properly, not just patched. While the work continues, a temporary modern hall is already serving travellers so that life can go on with less hardship. The aim is simple and human: an airport that treats Nigerians and visitors with the respect they deserve.

It is about the first impression our country gives to the world — and the last memory visitors take away.
